Bunnies and Bows

Our Easter lunch was...well "Eastery", with the pink, green and yellow table decor.
We had ham, green beans, scalloped potatoes and "green stuff". Yes, green STUFF, it's delicious!
especially with the bunny on top.
My Martha Stewart side kicked in when my Mom asked me to set the table:
I tied yellow & white polka-dot ribbon around the silverware and found a yellow Gerber-daisy to match and act as the center piece.
My outfit of choice was a red dress, necklace and ring (H&M) and brown and gold wedges (Payless).
HAPPY EASTER
XOXOXO

DIY: Greek goddess Costume

for Halloween I had 2 costumes. at my church festival I was a greek goddess and trick-or-treating I was a hippie. However, my favorite was the greek goddess costume and here is how I made it!:

Image10302011154744

I Applied gold eyeshadow and purple winged liner to look very royal and goddessy!

Image10302011154816

I put a gold and silver elastic braided head band on my forehead and to look like the golden leaves head wear they usually have on.

for my hair I side ways French braided the top half on both sides all the way to the back

Image10302011154831

of course a greek goddess is’nt a goddess without a royal serpent, and since I couldn’t find my snake, I had to draw one:

For my dress I wore a white short dress and for my shoes I wore these gold one’s I love

Personal Pan Pizza Project!

Saturday night my family and I decided to make our own pizza:
Tip: We used dough for bread instead of pizza crust and got a much fluffier outcome!
 Image10292011193226
  1. Just like with pizza crust you have to stretch, pull, flatten roll and pound the dough.
Image10292011193238
Tip: Heating a pizza stone in the the oven prior to stretching dough, and brushing olive oil on dough before adding the goods will give your it a little pop!
Image10292011194822
2. Apply the goods!
On My pizza I added Ham, mozzarella cheese, pineapple, basil and Tomato sauce:

3. After the toppings were all on we popped them in the oven for 25 minutes and waited…

DIY: small room, big change

Before:
Image10292011094107 Right side Image10292011094124Left side

This room started out (pictured above) boring, dull and dirty.
We added a coat of paint (color: ponytail from Lowes), a table, a rug and some pillows to add some color.
After:
the black and white dots (target) on the wall are dry-erase and chalkboards in a fun form, we cover the ugly cork board in fabric and ribbon and added white flowers which I hot glued on to push pins. This room looks awesome! its exciting and cute all at the same time.
